When you go on vacation, do you like to read about the places you’ve been? I always do. I was lucky enough to spend almost a week in the Capitol City and enjoyed every minute. So much to see and do!
So, here are a few titles I think I’ll look into reading to help me re-live my trip.
A Heartbeat Away by Michael Palmer -in this thriller, it’s the night for the State of the Union Address and things just don’t go right at all.
Watergate: a novel by Thomas Mallon – it takes a novelist to help fill in those gaps in this retelling of the Nixon era scandal.
Dream House: The White House as an American Home by Ulysses Dietz – lots of historic photos, plans and designs showing it’s history from 1800-1960.
What’s your favorite place to read about?
